PPL Theory Courses
Structured one-to-one and small group PPL(A) theory tuition designed to help students understand the subjects clearly and prepare effectively for exams.
Sessions are delivered online via Microsoft Teams, with in-person one-to-one tuition available by prior arrangement in the Newcastle and North Tyneside area.
Book a SessionTuition Available for All 9 PPL(A) Theory Subjects
I offer structured PPL(A) theory tuition across all 9 UK Private Pilot Licence subjects. Tuition is suitable for complete beginners starting from zero knowledge, student pilots already in flight training, and those preparing for specific exams.
Lessons can cover a full subject from the beginning, focus on difficult topics, or be used as revision and exam preparation support.
Support is also available for basic maths and physics for pilots, plus theoretical preparation for the PPL skill test.
Tuition is available online via Microsoft Teams and, by prior arrangement, in person for one-to-one students in the Newcastle and North Tyneside area.
PPL Ground School Support & Exam Preparation
PPL Tuition provides private PPL(A) theory tuition, revision support and exam preparation for student pilots who want clear explanations before sitting their theoretical knowledge exams.
Tuition is available online via Microsoft Teams and can support students studying with a flying school, distance learning provider or approved ground school. Sessions can focus on individual subjects, weak areas, worked examples, flight planning, navigation, performance, mass and balance, meteorology, air law, aircraft technical knowledge and principles of flight.
This is private tuition and revision support. It is not advertised as a full CAA-approved PPL course, but it can help students understand the subjects properly and prepare more confidently for their exams.
One-to-One & Small Group Pricing
All subjects are available as one-to-one tuition or small group tuition.
Prices shown are not hourly rates. They are charged per subject/module delivered, based on the planned content and level of support required.
Some subjects may require more time than others, especially calculation-based topics such as Aircraft Performance, Mass & Balance, Navigation and Flight Planning.
For small group tuition, the final price depends on the confirmed number of students attending.
